U.S. crude prices slide Friday

NEW YORK, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices dropped below $76 per barrel Friday with concerns of increased U.S. stockpiles weighing on the market.

The price of light, sweet crude on the New York Mercantile Exchange dropped 65 cents to $75.81 per barrel. Heating oil prices lost 0.009 cents to $2.0405 per gallon. Reformulated gasoline prices slid 0.0095 cents to $1.9835 per gallon. Natural gas prices gained 0.14 cents to $4.599 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline reached $2.637 per gallon Friday, up from Thursday's $2.633, AAA said.
