Drones over U.S. may pose security risks

WASHINGTON, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- The U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of BRP all terrain vehicles due to problems with loss of steering control.
About 2,400 model year 2010 Can-Am ATVs were imported from Mexico by BRP U.S. Inc. of Sturtevant, Wis., and sold nationwide from August through November for $6,800 to $13,000.
Various Can-Am Outlander and Renegade ATV models are involved in the recall. The ATVs power steering can fail, resulting in loss of steering control and creating a serious risk of injury or death, the commission said.
Consumers were advised to stop using the ATVs and contact a Can-Am dealer to schedule a free repair.
Consumers can call 888-638-5397 for information.
