Drones over U.S. may pose security risks


NEW YORK, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices rose for the second consecutive day Tuesday, climbing to nearly $78 per barrel after a manufacturing index rose in China.
The HSBC Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index rose 0.3 points to 55.7 in November, the fastest rise since April 2004, MarketWatch reported.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, the price of light, sweet crude added 61 cents to $77.89 per barrel. Heating oil prices gained 0.0151 cents to $2.063 per gallon. Reformulated gasoline prices rose 0.0115 cents to $2.023 per gallon. Natural gas prices fell 0.161 cents to $4.687 per million British thermal units.
At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline dropped to $2.627 per gallon, down from Monday's $2.629, AAA said.
