WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of Team Work Trading animal masks and pendants due to risk of lead exposure.

The masks and pendants, imported from China by Team Work Trading of Los Angeles, contain items with high levels of lead, the commission said in a statement.

The toy sets include masks with a cat face and various symbols on silver-colored chains.

The symbols include a dog tag with a fire symbol, a lion symbol, a Mickey Mouse symbol and a burning sun.

The sets were sold at gift shops nationwide from November 2008 through March 2009 for between $4 and $8 each.

Consumers were advised to stop using the recalled items and contact Team Work Trading to arrange for a refund.

Consumers can call 213-680-4489 for information.
