Islesworth listings: Name that celebrity

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 19 (UPI) -- A neighborhood of the super-rich in Florida, Orlando's Isleworth development, is dotted with "for sale" signs in a slow market for mansions, records show.

Fifteen percent of the properties in the lavish neighborhood -- 45 mansions -- are listed for sale, the Orlando Sentinel reported Wednesday.

That generally means a celebrity is on the move.

Golfers Mark O'Meara and Stuart Appleby have homes for sale in the wealthy subdivision Football place kicker Ryan Longwell has one, too. Hughes Supply Inc. Chief Executive Officer Tom Morgan is selling his Isleworth home.

Grant Hill has an Isleworth home on the market, a fixer-upper he bought in 2002 for $850,000.

His asking price of $5.9 million has not been met although the home has been listed for 470 days, the newspaper said.

The signs are up, but the prices are down.

In April, an Isleworth home sold for about $200 per square foot, bringing in $1.1 million, about half the price the owner paid for it in 2005. A typical home in the neighborhood brings in $500 per square foot, the Sentinel said.

List Tiger Woods as sitting on the fence. Neither of his two Isleworth homes are on the market, but he is building a home elsewhere, the Sentinel reported.
