CHICAGO, July 20 (UPI) -- Grain futures closed mostly higher on the Chicago Board of Trade Monday.

Corn was up 1 to up 2 1/2, soybeans were up 23 1/2 to off 1 1/4, wheat was up 1/2 to up 1 and oats were unchanged.

Corn moved higher on unseasonably cool temperatures but scattered rain in the forecast was expected to keep prices in check. Soybeans were pushed by fund trading and swings in spec positions. Wheat moved higher as the winter wheat harvest wound down.

The prices:

Corn: Sep 3.23 1/4, up 1; Dec 3.33 3/4, up 2 1/4; Mar 3.47 1/2, up 2 1/4; May 3.57 1/4, up 2 1/2.

Soybeans: Aug 10.33 1/2, up 23 1/2; Sep 9.60 1/2, up 12; Nov 9.23, down 1/2; Jan 9.30, down 1 1/4.
