WASHINGTON, July 10 (UPI) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of Hard Tail girl's jackets and sweatshirts due to a strangulation hazard.
About 130 hooded jackets and shirts were made by Hard Tail of Santa Monica, Calif., and sold nationwide from July 2007 and September 2008 for between $60 and $85.
The drawstrings on the garments pose a strangulation hazard, the commission said in a statement.
Consumers were advised to remove the drawstrings or return the garments to the place of purchase for a refund.
Consumers can call 888-942-7382 for information.
