Crude oil prices drop Tuesday

NEW YORK, June 30 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices slipped below $70 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange Tuesday as the dollar rose against the euro and the yen.

Crude oil prices fell $1.69 to $69.89 per barrel. Heating oil prices gained 0.0032 cents to $1.7877 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline fell 0.0475 cents to $1.902 per gallon. Natural gas prices lost 0.109 cents to $3.835 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $2.633 Tuesday, down from Monday's $2.639 a gallon, AAA said.
