
CHICAGO, June 19 (UPI) -- Grain futures traded mostly lower on the Chicago Board of Trade Friday as stock markets turned in a mixed day to end the week in New York.
Corn was off 4 to off 4 1/2, soybeans were off 30 1/4 to off 37 1/2, wheat was off 4 3/4 to off 5 and oats were unchanged to up 1/2.
Corn futures traded lower in spite of the dollar's slide Friday. The Canadian Wheat Board lowered its expectations for Canada's 2009 crop at 18 percent below the yield in 2008. Soybean futures dropped sharply along with a lower price for crude oil and reports of beneficial rain in China.

Corn: Jul 3.99 1/4, off 4; Sep 4.07 1/4, off 4 1/2; Dec 4.19 1/2, off 4 1/4; Mar 4.31, off 4 1/4.
Soybeans:Jul 11.79, off 34 3/4; Aug 11.20, off 30 1/4; Sep 10.50 1/2, off 32; Nov 10.06, off 37 1/2.
Wheat:Jul 5.55 1/4, off 5; Sep 5.84 1/2, off 4 3/4; Dec 6.10 3/4, off 5; Mar 6.27 1/4, off 4 3/4.
Oats: Jul 2.12, up 1/2; Sep 2.21 1/2, up 1/2; Dec 2.35, unchanged; Mar 2.48, unchanged.
