Crude oil prices rise slightly

NEW YORK, June 18 (UPI) -- Crude oil rose slightly on the New York Mercantile Exchange, although U.S. prices have dropped from a recent peak above $72 per barrel.

Crude oil added 35 cents Thursday to $71.23 per barrel. Heating oil fell 0.0246 cents to $1.8349 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline slid 0.0034 cents to $2.0169 per gallon. Natural gas prices fell 0.165 cents to $4.077 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $2.685 Thursday, up from Wednesday's $2.679 a gallon, AAA said.
