U.S. markets recover from steep losses

NEW YORK, April 8 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices rose to just over $50 a barrel Wednesday on the New York Mercantile Exchange as stocks rebounded modestly on Wall Street.
Crude oil prices rose $1.65 to $50.10 per barrel. Heating oil prices rose 0.0283 cents to $1.4148 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline rose 0.0191 cents to $1.4597 per gallon. Natural gas prices fell 0.015 cents to $3.658 per million British thermal units.
At the pump, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $2.047 Wednesday, up from Tuesday's $2.04 a gallon, AAA said.
