WASHINGTON, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of Golfer's Billiard Games due to a lead paint violation.

The games, imported from China by Dick's Sporting Goods Inc. and Golf Galaxy Inc., both of Pittsburgh, Pa., include golf balls with surface paint that has excessive levels of lead, the commission said.

About 2,300 of the games were sold from October 2008 to December 2008 at stores nationwide for about $30. They were sold in Acuity Golfer's Billiard Game and Clubhouse Golfer's Billiard Game models.

Consumers were advised to return the games to the store where purchased for a full refund.

Consumers can call Dick's Sporting Goods at 866-677-4771 or Golf Galaxy at 866-465-3655 for information.
