CHICAGO, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Grains closed mixed on the Chicago Board of Trade Friday as oil prices rose and the dollar gained strength against the euro and yen.
Corn was off 4 1/2 to off 5 1/4, soybeans were off 3 to off 5, wheat was up 6 1/2 to up 7 1/4 and oats were up 2.
Corn opened sharply lower with exports on the week falling short of U.S. Department of Agriculture expectations. Wheat prices rose as Egypt purchased 55,000 metric tons from U.S. sources Friday. Soybeans prices fell although exports on the week were strong, especially in soybean oil sales.

Corn: Dec 3.49 1/2, off 4 1/2; Mar 3.65 3/4, off 5 1/4; May 3.77 1/4, off 5; Jul 3.88 1/2, off 5 1/4.
Soybeans: Jan 8.83, off 3; Mar 8.91, off 3; May 9.00, off 3 3/4; Jul 9.08, off 5.
Wheat: Dec 5.42 1/2, up 7; Mar 5.61 1/4, up 7 1/4; May 5.74 3/4, up 7; Jul 5.87 3/4, up 6 1/2.
Oats: Dec 2.01 1/2, up 2; Mar 2.17, up 2; May 2.26, up 2; Jul 2.36 1/2, up 2.
