CHICAGO, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Grains closed lower on the Chicago Board of Trade as the influences of a declining dollar and sliding crude oil prices canceled each other out Tuesday.

Corn was off 1/2 to off 1, soybeans were off 1 to up 1/2, wheat was off 3 1/2 to off 4 and oats were off 1 1/2 to off 2 1/2.

Corn prices fell as weather forecasts in the Midwest indicate the harvest can progress through the week. Wheat prices dropped as winter wheat conditions show early promise for increased yields next year. Soybeans were off slightly with soy meal finished higher, while soy oil fell prices fell sharply.
