Crude oil prices fall overnight

NEW YORK, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices dropped sharply on the New York Mercantile Exchange after a strong rally on Wall Street Monday boosted prices briefly.

Crude oil prices fell $3.50 to $50.77 per barrel after investor confidence pushed prices to $54.27 Monday. Heating oil prices fell 0.0837 cents to $1.6988 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline fell 0.0426 cents to $1.0949 per gallon. Natural gas prices fell 0.554 cents to $6.386 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline dropped 0.023 cents Tuesday to $1.885, AAA said.
