Vietnam's fourth largest oilfield opens

HANOI, Vietnam, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Vietnam's fourth largest oilfield, a $1 billion offshore project, has gone into production, Cuu Long, the operating company, announced.

Cuu Long, a joint venture, said the Su Tu Vang (Golden Lion) oilfield is expected to have an output of about 65,000 barrels a day, Vietnam News said.

The oilfield is located off the Vietnamese coast southeast of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.
