Hyundai gets $300M deal from Kazakhstan

SEOUL, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- South Korea's Hyundai Corp. Tuesday announced a $300 million deal to provide subway trains and equipment to Almaty, former capital of Kazakhstan.

The Korean trading company said Almaty officials are pushing to develop the city's infrastructure ahead of the 2011 Winter Asian Games, Yonhap news agency reported.
