
CHICAGO, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Grains closed higher on the Chicago Board of Trade Monday as oil prices fell and the dollar made gains.
Corn was up 1 1/2 to up 1 3/4, soybeans were up 3 to up 4 1/2, wheat was up 25 1/2 to up 25 3/4 and oats were up 4 1/2.
Corn traded higher although good harvest weather meant supplies were on the rise. Wheat prices jumped with export inspections at 53.7 percent of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's forecast, compared with a five-year average of 43.8 percent. Soybeans, export inspections stood behind the five-year average, 18.4 percent compared with 20.1 percent.

Corn: Dec 4.03, up 1 1/2; Mar 4.20 3/4, up 1 1/2; May 4.32 1/2, up 1 3/4; Jul 4.43 1/2, up 1 3/4.
Soybeans: Nov 9.28 1/4, up 3; Jan 9.37 1/2, up 4 1/2; Mar 9.49 1/4, up 4, May 9.60 3/4, up 4.
Wheat: Dec 5.62, up 25 3/4; Mar 5.82 1/2, up 25 3/4; May 5.96, up 25 1/2; Jul 6.09 3/4, up 25 3/4.
Oats: Dec 2.36, up 4 1/2; Mar 2.53 3/4, up 4 1/2; May 2.65 1/2, up 4 1/2; Jul 2.76 1/2, up 4 1/2.
