Consumer Corner: Foreclosure settlement no magic bullet for economy

WASHINGTON, Oct. 17 (UPI) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of My Way Corp. baby walkers due to a possible stairway fall hazard.
About 800 of the baby walkers, imported from China by My Way Corp., of San Juan, Puerto Rico, were sold in discount stores in Puerto Rico between November 2004 and March 2008 for between $18 and $25 each.
No injuries have been reported, but the size and design of the baby walkers allows them to fit through standard doorways. They are also not designed to stop at the edge of a step, the commission said.
Consumers were advised to stop using the recalled walkers and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Consumers can call 787-758-5858 for information.
