Exxon barred from Iraqi oil, gas auction

WASHINGTON, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of JLA zebra rugs -- sold exclusively at J.C. Penny -- due to a fire hazard.
Importer JLA Home of Plano, Texas, is recalling the rugs sold as J.C. Penny item number MF728-1050, because the rugs do not meet federal flammability standards and lack required labeling, CPSC said.
About 2,900 of the 30-inch by 54-inch zebra-design rugs were sold from December 2007 through July 2008 for between $50 and $70.
Consumers were advised to contact JLA Home to receive the correct warning label or for instructions on how to receive a full refund.
Consumers can call 866-456-8852 for information.
