NEW YORK, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices fell Thursday, pressured by a stronger U.S. dollar and weak global economies.

Crude oil dropped $3.05 to $106.30 per barrel, continuing a two-month downward trend that has analysts predicting oil will fall below the $100 per barrel mark.

Heating oil prices also dropped, falling 0.0626 cents to $3.0162 per gallon. Reformulated gasoline prices fell 0.043 cents to $2.725 per gallon, while natural gas prices rose slightly, up 0.091 cents to $7.351 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, U.S. motorists were paying an average of $3.678 for a gallon of regular, unleaded gasoline, down from Wednesday's $3.681, the AAA said.
