U.S. markets recover from steep losses


RANDOLPH, Mass., Sept. 2 (UPI) -- Richelieu Foods Inc. of Massachusetts said Tuesday it has bought Sara Lee Corp.'s food service sauces and dressings business for an undisclosed amount.
Richelieu, a closely held company whose majority owner is the private equity firm Brynwood Partners, will take over Sara Lee's sauces and dressings production facility in Elk Grove Village, Ill., the Chicago Tribune reported.
Under the deal, Richelieu said it will make products for the Sara Lee Foodservice DSD Cofee network, which will continue to supply its customers with sauce and dressing products.
