WASHINGTON, July 25 (UPI) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of Innovage remote-controlled toy helicopters because of a fire hazard.

Two models of wireless indoor helicopters, Sky Scrambler and The Sharper Image, include lithium ion batteries that could overheat and start a fire, CPSC said in a statement.

About 685,000 of the recalled toys, distributed by Innovage LLC of Foothill Ranch, Calif., were sold between June 200t and May 2008 for about $20.

The Sky Scrambler helicopters have BH26047 printed on the tail. "The Sharper Image" is printed on the tail.

Consumers were advised to stop using the recalled helicopters and contact Innovage for a full refund.

Consumers can also call Innovage at 627-2630 for more information.
