Oil prices, already headed downward, fell another $2.29 on the New York Mercantile Exchange Tuesday, reaching $134.33 per barrel.

The price of heating oil fell 0.0015 cents to $3.8395 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline prices fell 0.0087 cents to $3.2707 per gallon. Natural gas prices rose 0.045 cents to $11.443 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the national average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline rose 0.005 cents to $4.114, AAA said.
