The canopies, made in China and imported by Wanda Technology Inc. of Santa Ana, Calif., don't comply with flammability standards and could pose a fire hazard, a CPSC statement said. No injuries have been reported.
About 8,600 of the canopies with code number 1020-8-WT2007 were sold exclusively at BJ's Wholesale Club stores from January through May for about $200. The canopies are white with metal frames and measure 10 feet by 20 feet.
Consumers were advised to contact Wanda Technology for instructions on returning the canopies for a full refund.
Consumers can call Wanda Technology at 866-312-8799 for information.
