U.S. markets recover from steep losses

WASHINGTON, June 25 (UPI) -- U.S. crude oil inventories rose slightly last week, ending five straight weeks of declines, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said Wednesday.
Crude inventories increased by 0.8 million barrels on the week ending June 20, EIA reported.
Supplies on the week totaled to 301.8 million barrels.
Gasoline inventories declined by 0.1 million barrels, falling to the lower half of the average range for this time of year, the report said.
Finished gasoline inventories increased, while gasoline blending components inventories declined, EIA said. Distillate fuel inventories, which includes heating oil, rose by 2.8 million barrels and are in the middle of the average range at 119.4 million barrels.
