CHICAGO, June 17 (UPI) -- Heavy rains and Midwest flooding pressured grain prices upward on the Chicago Board of Trade Tuesday.

Corn was up 9 3/4 to up 13; soybeans were up 24 to up 30; wheat was up 21 1/2 to up 22; and oats were up 2 to up 2 1/2.

Mississippi area flooding disrupted corn deliveries to the Gulf Tuesday. Wet weather has also raised fears of increased vomitoxin in soft red Oklahoma and Kansas wheat. Soybeans were also influenced by rain Tuesday with slowed barge activity and delays in the final efforts to finish planting.
