SEATTLE, June 11 (UPI) -- Starbucks Corp. said Wednesday it had settled a legal dispute with Bellevue, Wash., cellular carrier T-Mobile USA.

T-Mobile filed suit in New York June 5, claiming Starbucks, the world's largest coffee retailer, had broken a contract, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reported.

Starbucks recently announced it was working with AT&T to provide some customers with free wireless Internet service.

Stacy Krum, a Starbucks spokeswoman, said the two parties had signed a memorandum of understanding. She would not give out details, however, explaining the companies were "working toward a final settlement, which we expect soon."
