WASHINGTON, April 14 (UPI) -- A fire hazard has prompted Hobby-Lobby International Inc. to voluntarily recall its lithium-polymer battery chargers and batteries, U.S. officials said Monday.

The recall by the Brentwood, Tenn., company, announced by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, called on consumers to stop using both products immediately.

Three incidents have been reported, including a customer who was seriously burned on a hand when a battery ignited, the report said.

The recall applies to chargers and batteries sold with the AT600 Falcon Helicopter Kit. In addition, spare chargers -- model ATS6046 -- and spare batteries -- model ATS600B -- were also recalled.

About 3,200 units, which were sold at Hobby-Lobby.com from April 2006 through July 2007, retailing for about $300, are being recalled. The spare chargers retailed for about $15. Spare batteries retailed for about $45.

Customers were instructed to dispose of the units following instructions posted on the Hobby-Lobby International Web site. They can receive new batteries and chargers by contacting sales@hobby-lobby.com.
