WASHINGTON, March 10 (UPI) -- Four government agencies have approved $6.7 million in disaster relief for victims of early February storms in Tennessee, Bizjournals.com reported.

The U.S. Small Business Administration has approved $4.1 million in loans, while the Federal Emergency Management Agency has approved $2.6 million through the Individuals and Households Program, the report said.

Assistance has also been provided by the Department of Homeland Security and the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency.

Most of the financial relief has gone to home repair and rental assistance.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency has processed 4,136 applications for relief while 2,734 residents visited Disaster Recovery Centers run by the federal and state government. Federal agencies have also completed 2,109 home inspections, the report said.
