NEW YORK, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Commodity prices continued to slide on the New York Mercantile Exchange Tuesday as U.S. markets turned sharply down.
Crude oil fell 4 cents in late trading to $88.37 cents late Tuesday.

Heating oil prices lost 0.1 cents to $2.4455 per gallon, down from the morning price of $2.4618 per gallon.
The price for reformulated gasoline blendstock also declined on the exchange, down 0.58 cents to $2.2589 per gallon.
Natural gas prices climbed 1.8 cents cents to $7.960 per million British thermal units.
At the pump, the price of unleaded gasoline held at $2.977 per gallon, unchanged from Monday, the AAA Fuel Gauge Report said.
