NEW YORK, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Apple has settled a long-standing New York lawsuit against Think Secret, an independent news and rumor Web site that will close as part of the settlement.
ThinkSecret.com was sued in 2005 for allegedly divulging Apple company secrets. Under provisions of the settlement names of the sources accused of leaking the material will not be revealed.
An Apple spokesman called the settlement "a positive solution for both sides," the Wall Street Journal said.
Most details of the agreement were not disclosed.
The site's publisher, Nick Ciarelli, a 22-year-old Harvard senior who had been running the site since he was 13, declined to say whether he got any money in the deal but said he was "very satisfied" and eager to move on, possibly into journalism.
