ROUND ROCK, Texas, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- U.S. office product superstore Staples and computer-maker Dell said Monday they have reached both a retail and environmental agreement.

Staples, headquartered in Framingham, Mass., will be the only office supply big-box store to sell Dell notebook and desktop computers and accessories, the companies said in a news release.

In addition, Staples said it would join Dell's "Plant a Forest for Me" initiative, which enables organizations globally to share best practices and facilitate the planting of trees in managed reforestation projects.

Dell, based in Round Rock, Texas, has retail relationships with Gome stores in China, Bic Camera Inc. in Japan, Carphone Warehouse in Britain and Wal-Mart in the United States, Canada, Brazil and Mexico.
