'Magic' Johnson to invest in condo project

NASHVILLE, Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Basketball hall-of-famer Earvin "Magic" Johnson is expected to announce soon that he will invest in the Gulch, a Nashville-area development project.

Johnson, now a partner in the Los Angeles real estate firm Canyon-Johnson Urban Funds, is scheduled to participate in a news conference to announce a partnership will appear at a press conference to unveil a partnership with Crosland LLC of Charlotte, N.C., The (Nashville) Tennessean reported Monday.

The project includes two condominium buildings and a mixed-use project.
