WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced the recall of "Queso Cincho de Guerrero" (Mexican guerrero cheese belts) because of possible contamination.

The guerrero cheese product, distributed by MCP Inc. of Wisconsin, might be contaminated with salmonella, an organism which can cause serious infections, the FDA said.

The recalled products were distributed in wheels of 35-to-40 pounds and labeled as "Quesos Sabrosos Mexicanos".

Consumers with questions can contact the company at 630-279-8600.
