Crude oil prices back over $65 a barrel

NEW YORK, May 25 (UPI) -- Crude oil rose back over the $65 mark on the eve of Memorial Day Friday, jumping $1.02 to $65.20 a barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Natural gas was down 4.1 cents at $7.64 per million British thermal units,

Heating oil was up 1.79 cents at $1.947 a gallon. Reformulated gas rose 3.31 cents to $2.39 a gallon.

Meanwhile, gas at the pump dropped back a fraction, selling at $3.225 compared to the record $3.227 Thursday, the AAA fuel gauge report said.
