NEW YORK, April 26 (UPI) -- An overseas BlackBerry e-mail-enabled phone is expected on the U.S. market next month.

The device, introduced by Verizon Wireless and Sprint, aims at what both companies see as a major geographic hurdle, USA Today said.

Currently, the more than 100 million users of the two carriers cannot use their wireless phones overseas, the report said.

The BlackBerry 8830 World Edition phone reportedly would allow voice calls in more than 150 countries and e-mail in more than 60.
