U.S. markets recover from steep losses

DETROIT, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Detroit-based Ford Motor Co. says the Ford Interceptor will be one of the new cars at the North American International Auto Show.
Detroit News reported that the Interceptor was inspired by the big Ford sedans of the 1960s. The Interceptor features an engine that delivers 400 horsepower that Ford says is environmentally responsible, running on E-85 ethanol.
The interior features black leather and metal.
"This concept celebrates the best of American muscle, showing customers what 'modern muscle' is all about," said Peter Horbury, executive director of design for the Americas. "The Interceptor concept is much like a Marine in dress uniform. He looks smart and elegant, but you can see the raw power that lies beneath."
