NEW YORK, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Intel Corp. (NASDAQ:INTC) has taken over two video billboards in New York's Times Square and invited people to upload photos of themselves to be shown there through Jan. 7.

Each photo first appears as a single image before it multiplies into hundreds of smaller ones in a display that lasts about a minute, the computer-chip giant says.

"'Multiply' is now our overall campaign for all we do at Intel," senior media manager Thom Campbell told Advertising Age. "Our mission is to manifest 'multiply' in media."

The "multiply" theme supports Intel's new processing architecture, the Core brand, which features multiple processors and computing power on a single chip.
