Pakistan facing energy crisis

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Pakistan faces a severe energy crisis with oil consumption leaping 80 percent, leading officials to consider nighttime restrictions.

A senior official with the Water and Power Ministry said the government was studying possible short- and long-term measures, which could include commercial restriction on energy usage.
