U.S. crude oil supply up, gasoline down

WASHINGTON, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- U.S. crude oil inventories rose by 1.3 million barrels last week, the Energy Department said Wednesday.

At 336 million barrels, U.S. crude oil inventories remain well above the upper end of the average range for this time of year.

Gasoline inventories dropped by 3.7 million barrels last week to the lower half of their average range.

Supplies of heating oil and diesel fuel fell by 3.6 million barrels and are in the upper half of the average range for this time of year.

A very slight increase in heating oil inventories was more than compensated by a significant decline in supplies of diesel fuels.
