U.S. markets recover from steep losses

CHICAGO, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Chicago's Sara Lee Corp. will introduce a record 20 new food and beverage products in fiscal 2007.
Christopher J. Fraleigh, chief executive officer of Sara Lee Food & Beverage, told a group of analysts this week that the new products in his division will include Jimmy Dean microwaveable breakfast bowls and Hillshire Farm entree salads, which come with everything needed for a salad except the lettuce.
He said his focus is "on driving margin improvement by building brands through innovation, quality and clearly communicated product benefits."
He also said he is putting a priority on executing sales programs to benefit customers and "aligning employees behind growth and achievement."
