BEIJING, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Chinese yuppies, also known as chuppies, can't get enough of upscale, top-quality U.S. products, a survey indicates.
United Parcel Service, in a telephone survey of 1,200 upper-middle-class Chinese consumers, said Monday chuppies nearly always prefer U.S. blue jeans, DVDs, moisturizer, athletic shoes and washer-dryers.
UPS said its survey indicates U.S. manufacturers should move aggressively to ship their products to China.
UPS did not disclose the margin of sampling error of the survey, conducted by Research International June 2-20.
