U.S. markets recover from steep losses

JAKARTA, Aug. 1 (UPI) -- Indonesia's income per capita has risen to around $1,500, and the government says that means the nation is middle-income.

Indonesia Vice President Jusuf Kalla said there were three factors that could help raise the gross domestic product even beyond the middle-income level, the nation's population and the exchange rate, Antara reported Tuesday.
