SEVRES, France, July 24 (UPI) -- U.S. investors are paying $4.3 billion to buy France Telecom SA's majority stake in yellow-pages service PagesJaunes Groupe SA.
Private-equity funds Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. are buying FT's 54 percent stake in PagesJaunes, which is based in Sevres, France, the Wall Street Journal reported Monday.

KKR and Goldman will make an extra payment of 2 percent to 3 percent more than the bid price to all shareholders if the pair get more than 95 percent of all shares in the offer, an unlikely prospect.
