NEW YORK, Nev., April 21 (UPI) -- Crude oil overcame an initial price retreat Friday to post another record, closing on the New York Mercantile Exchange at $75.17 per barrel.
The $1.48 rise, a 2-percent rise, in the cost of June oil left the commodity up 6 percent on the week, MarketWatch reported.

Despite the oil increase, natural gas was down 1 percent Friday to $7.981 per million Btu.
Gasoline rose 3.52 cents to $2.25 per gallon and heating oil was higher by 2.54 cents to $2.079 per gallon.
