MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., March 21 (UPI) -- California-based Internet portal Google launched an advertising-free financial Web site Tuesday.

The site, which Google says is "an early beta product," features a compilation of financial and wire service stories as well as exchange data in a "clean, uncluttered user interface," the company said.

Google Finance also features company-related blog postings, biographies of company executives with photos, salaries and trading activities, plus discussion groups.

Users also may track their stock, bond and mutual fund portfolios on Google Finance.
