U.S. markets recover from steep losses

DUBLIN, Ireland, March 16 (UPI) -- Irish discount carrier Ryanair will begin charging passengers about $9 for checking baggage.
Passengers will pay less if they pay before the day of travel, Sky News reported Thursday. Savings for the airline are estimated at about $34 million per year.
Earlier this year, Ryanair's chief hinted that such a move was coming.
"We have to be more creative as to how we tackle costs," Michael O'Leary said in January.
