U.S. markets recover from steep losses

LONDON, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Violence in Nigeria's oil-producing region drove up the price of crude oil Monday by more than 2 percent.
London's futures markets for the benchmark Brent blend rose $1.60 per barrel to $61.35, MarketWatch reported.
A London-traded April light sweet crude-oil contract surged $1.52 to $62.70 a barrel.
