SI Int.l pays $60M to buy Zen Technologies

RESTON, Va., Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Virginia-based SI International Inc. is paying $60 million to buy Zen Technology Inc., a federal software contractor in Maryland.

Zen's largest clients include the Missile Defense Agency, the Federal Communications Commission, the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp. and the Federal Trade Commission.

"The acquisition of Zen will support SI International's ongoing strategic focus on broadening our client base and enhancing our portfolio of capabilities to provide the federal government with exceptional service quality that delivers 'Rapid Response, Rapid Deployment' of mission-critical IT needs," SI International said in a statement.
